Support Worker

Complete Life provide truly person centred support to adults and children (8 years and over) who have learning and/or physical disabilities and/or autism and who may present challenging behaviours. We are recruiting for 2 part time support workers to join our team, to support a happy and enthusiastic young lady who has physical and learning disabilities. This will be to support her to access her local community, taking part in fun and exciting activities. This will be in the Tiptree, Essex area. Hours are Monday to Friday during the day for a total of 37.5hrs per week, which will be shared between the 2 successful applicants. There may be an occasional evening or Saturday but this will be pre agreed in advance. They will need to be a driver and have access to a vehicle (with business insurance). They will need some experience of supporting young people with physical (Cerebral Palsy) and learning disabilities. They will need to have experience in using wheelchairs, although full training will be given around this. The successful candidates will demonstrate a patient nature, excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, be physically fit, have good imagination and creative skills. All mandatory and individualised training will be given to the right candidates who share Complete Life's Values and Mission. Competitive rate of pay - £9.49 per hour.
