Territory Manager - Wine & Beverage Supplier - FMCG Job Role: Territory Manager Location: East Anglia Salary: Up to £50,000 Benefits My client is a leading wine and beverage supplier to all major hotels and restaurants throughout the UK. They are doing really well and currently experiencing a successful period of growth and record sales figures. In a time of uncertainly it is important to be in a stable working environment and this role will put your mind at ease; they are stable, now in strong growth with the on-trade market coming back, it is an exciting time to join Due to continued success, they are looking for a Territory Manager to join their sales team focussing on the Eats Anglia region. The Territory Manager will be responsible for managing new and existing customers in a designated geographical area to grow business and meet turnover and profitability targets. A Territory Manager will be able to persistently explore and uncover the needs of potential and existing customers, and understand how our range of product offerings can grow customers' success If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love customer service and believe you have the right skills for this position, then I want to hear from you Responsibilities include: Manage and develop existing business by developing active customer plans which provide marketing and promotional support, training and other relevant initiatives which will ensure customer retention and, where relevant, increase company share of their business. Be responsible for all the accounts in the given area. Ensure an appropriate level of service is given to each customer, based on the service level agreement, and intervene to ensure any issues are addressed. Visit accounts at an appropriate frequency for their value to ensure customer retention rates are maintained. Maximise the value of the account through pricing versus volume trade-offs. Grow the portfolio listings, including category conversions and new product introductions Draw on new business leads for the region during key tenders. Share customer leads in a cooperative and proactive manner in order to ensure the best possible business impact. Achieve financial targets, whilst planning to exceed targets. Prepare and present proposals to current and potential accounts. The Ideal Territory Manager Candidate: Must have a track record of field sales within the on-trade market, ideally with a minimum of 2 years focussing on wine & spirits. Must have exceptional wine and spirits knowledge and a great understanding of the drinksindustry. Well educated with WSET Level 3 or equivalent qualification. Experience in delivering training or carrying out tastings is desirable.
