Accounts Assistant

Michelle Denny Recruitment is recruiting for a business on the outskirts of Ipswich who are looking to find an Accounts Assistant to join their team permanently with a 37.5 hour working week (8.30am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday). We will discuss salary in detail which will be based on your background and industry experience. Working alongside the Financial Controller, you'll be providing support with the day-to-day running of their two Purchase Ledgers, with this position particularly suited to people who have experience working with large stock invoices. The day-to-day responsibilities: Full administrative function to support Purchase Ledger including liaising with other parts of the business to resolve queries Processing stock invoices Picking up goods receipts and matching purchase orders to invoices Matching of goods-in paperwork with supplier invoices Reconciliation of supplier statements, resolving queries Managing Purchaser Ledger email inbox to access supplier invoices, statements etc Monitoring Goods Received Not Invoiced reports Processing of employee expense claims and company credit card reconciliation Skills & Experience This position would be great for someone with purchase ledger experience Great customer service and interpersonal skills Competency in Word and Excel The organisation is a busy, friendly and dedicated one, with a good team spirited working environment.
