An exciting role where you will take ownership for the smaller group companies, end-to-end, supporting the budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning as well as ensuring accurate monthly reporting. This role will require a hands-on approach which may include transactional posting of data for sales ledger, accounts payable and bank reconciliations. You will be a key point of contact in the Finance function for stakeholders across the business in understanding budgets, financial analysis, and our reporting systems. This is a pivotal role in ensuring the effective ongoing management of our business accounts, forecasting to shape the future success of the business. Building and maintain excellent relationships with the client teams and internal teams at HQ Maintain an expert understanding of teams, structures, and budgets Supporting and processing of transactional information into accounting system. Preparation of monthly Management Accounts Balance Sheet reconciliations Preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting packs Assisting in the development of the finance and reporting systems Carrying out/oversee month end duties such as journal preparation and posting, balance sheet and bank reconciliations Assisting in the revision of old processes and helping develop and implement new processes Assisting in the development of the finance and reporting systems Preparation of Audit schedules Preparation of VAT returns and statutory remittances Forecasting of overhead costs and assisting with the preparation of annual budgets Assisting the management team with ad-hoc requests Ability to assist with Accounts Payable / Expenses / Credit Control / Payroll process to meet tight company deadlines when needed Assisting the management and wider finance team with ad-hoc requests We'd love to meet someone with Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) Able to adapt communication to all levels of hierarchy Effective at stakeholder management Good problem solver with analytical skills Advanced excel knowledge to include pivot tables and v-lookups Team player with a great attitude Strong attention to detail Great organisational skills Adaptable and flexible Ability to multitask Positive attitude in high-pressure situations Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively Pro-active and able to work off own initiative Detail orientated, analytical and a solution-based thinker Good time management skills Part or fully qualified CIMA/ACCA or similar qualification And last but not least... what's in it for you?
