Administration Assistant (Production Planning)

Administration Assistant (Production Planning) You will join us as an Administration Assistant assisting within the Production Planning Department. This will include short/medium/long term planning, along with day-to-day processing of the production process such as receiving preliminary information, issuing fabrication drawings to facilities and subcontract fabrication, and planning treatment to achieve project site dates. Administration Assistant Responsibilities: Listing first issue and revised issue packages to the works and purchasing when required. Issue Material Bought Outs to purchasing when required Upload Carcass plate girders to in house planning software (HDS) when required Keep up to date listing registers when required Assisting in keeping up to date Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) / output charts for all areas of Production Use In house planning programme to issue packages to the relevant in-house facilities or sublet Process Revision requests in Revision Manger when required Edit, update and issue Weekly Facility Programmes to suit latest information Keep shop output sheet and charts up to date when required Keeping Main Overview upto dates with latest rollovers in regards to shop hours / metreage / surface area progress when required Learn and operate Treatment Planning Module as and when required using in house software (HDS) Create and manage documentation to cover each piece/lot/load within HDS - including sub-contract fabrication Attend Production Meeting as and when required Attend Production and Treatment Facilities as and when required Assisting and engaging in Production Planning / Listing / lotting systems continuous improvement Assisting Sub Fab department as and when necessary Administration Assistant Requirements: 5 GCSE grades C including Maths and English A successfully completed IT course would be desirable, but not essential. However you must have IT skills, particularly Excel Good communication skills and self-motivation Proactive, flexible attitude Excellent attention to detail Good organisational skills Ability to work under pressure Willingness to continually improve An understanding of engineering/steel fabrication, including CAD knowledge would be an advantage About William Hare: World class steel engineering & fabrication.
