Business Analyst (Life Sciences/Biotech) -Fully Remote This is a career defining role for an Established BA to progress into a Product Owner and really grow within a Global and Market Leader within the Life Sciences and Bio Tech Fields . As the virtual market grows, they are happy with the BA to be fully remote. There is a central Hub which is based in Greater Manchester- Bury. An exciting Business Analysis opportunity is available in order to help to define and deliver an exciting digital transformation programme of work, to standardise and harmonise business processes across CRM, E-commerce and Order Management. The role is responsible for advising and documenting the Business needs from inception through to User Acceptance Testing and Implementation. Working closely with the Business and Architecture Teams to document business processes and capture high level requirements and evolve these into deliverable User Stories or Functional Specifications depending upon the delivery model. The primary focus initially will be on the end-to-end Business and Customer CRM processes, championing design standardisation and best practices, with an appreciation of related applications in the context of the customer journey. Key Responsibilities Lead workshops with business stakeholders to confirm requirements Documenting Business Process to Level 3 Clearly communicates business requirements to the team / wider business Responsibility for creating Epics, User Stories or Functional Specifications Overall responsibility for Product Backlog grooming / User Story prioritisation Attends Backlog grooming / Sprint Planning / Stand-Ups / Sprint Show & Tell ceremonies. Sign off of delivered Acceptance Criteria User Acceptance Testing Build and maintain relationships with the Stakeholders Identify and recommend feature enhancements based on analysis and understanding of business processes Knowledge, Experience and Technical Skills 4 years experience of working on CRM focussed business design - Salesforce desirable Experience with working on Ecommerce platforms UX and customer journey/insight experience Experience in working closely with Marketing Teams Experience in Business Process Mapping and requirements gathering Comfortable working either in an Agile or Waterfall delivery methodology Capturing and articulating the business requirement as a Functional Specification or User Story where appropriate Experienced at User Acceptance Testing Understanding of data and data models Use of Visio Use of Agile Story tracking tools such as YouTrack, Jira etc Person Specification Ability to communicate comfortably with a variety of roles in the delivery of a project Self-starting/self-motivated Good team player Strong sense of integrity Willingness to learn new technologies and approaches as appropriate (eg, switching from a more traditional BA role to a Product Owner) All interviews are conducting Virtually via Zoom including the on Boarding.
