My client, an established Housing Developer, is looking to hire an Assistant Site manager for a scheme in Bishop Stortford consisting of a 140 units consisting of RC frame homes This company is a very well established housing developer, who demands a very high quality of professionalism throughout their business. My client are keen to appoint an experienced Assistant who is driven and ambitious to climb the ladder and become a Site Manager within 12 months Duties, No2 Working under a experience Site Manager You will responsible for running a number of sub-contractor packages Help support the Site Manager in the running of the project, consisting of traditional build homes. Providing clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme Providing accurate and regular reports on progress and dates Snagging works of sub-contractors and flag any issues with the Site Manager Ensuring the development pass internal and external inspection processes Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others Take up of training offered in order to learn the role and ultimately gain new experience and knowledge Monitoring and controlling the quality of production and approve stage completions to payments to subcontractors Work with NHBC inspectors Qualifications, Previous residential, new build experience Driven, hardworking and keen to get on.
