Role: Financial Data Analyst Location: Nottingham / Remote Duration: Minimum 6 months (FTC) Overview: An exciting opportunity has opened for a Financial Data Analyst to provide services on a Fixed Term Contract. Our client is large Financial Services corporation which is currently going through a large transformation / integration process. Key Essential Skills: 7-10 years of experience in a similar role. Experience of working in financial services industry. Strong Excel and VBA skills. Strong knowledge of Finance Processes. Strong knowledge of Finance systems and data types. Desirable Skills: Microsoft Access. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proactive and independent work ethics. Critical thinking. Role & Responsibilities: Responsible for quality assurance on work completed by data analysts covering both financials (cost / benefits) and people data. Define, build and run Programme Financials and cost and benefits (synergies) tracking. Put in place strong processes and controls to update programme financials on a monthly basis. Support financials data driven analysis for Programme Manager and Finance Business Partner. Create MI for senior stakeholder reporting. Coaching data analysts on their work to improve overall quality. Work independently to understand central data team process in a challenging timeline.
