UEC Operations Manager

Norfolk and Waveney CCG is offering an exciting opportunity for an Urgent and Emergency Care Operations Manager for the Central Locality. The role is to support the management of in-hours system escalation and surge management, working with all NHS and Social Care providers and commissioners in the system. This includes identifying issues and facilitating actions to aid prompt recovery of system flow and to support safe patient care at times of system pressure. The successful candidate will also be expected to co-ordinate planning arrangements and seek assurance from system partners both providers and commissioners regarding service delivery and resilience across the central system particularly during Winter, Bank Holidays, school holidays and weekends which also includes reporting arrangements, risks and mitigations to NHS England & Improvement. This role is for someone with proven understanding of complex health and care systems and experience in partnership working, who is committed to improving services for our population.
