Temporary Facilities Health and Safety Managerr

This is a temporary position that has the opportunity to become permanent with an immediate start . You will be reporting to the Deputy Director of Services and leading a team of facility Staff. You will be responsible for the oversight and management of all Health and Safety maintaining the standard sof the facilities including cleaning repair and maintenance . You will also be expected to project manage small building projects as necessity. You will be working on a large education site. You will at all times ensure that all works are compliant with current health and safety rules, utilising best practice and building relationships with all Estate Management staff. Qualifications and experience needed Relevant Health and Safety Qualification (e.g. NEBOSH) Strong Management Experience Hold a professional or management qualification Experience in all aspects of Line Management including recruitment .development performance management and appraisals Previous experience of setting and managing budgets and producing financial and statistical reports Operational knowledge of risk assessments, health and safety and safeguarding considerations in relation to relevant activities Ability to ensure departmental compliance with GDPR regulations Excellent written and oral communications as well as presentation skills Good IT skills Word, access excel For a full job description please send your CV to LKA Recruitment as soon as possible
