Sales Support Manager

Very exciting career opportunity for an experienced Sales Support Manager to join a globally operating manufacturing company based from their UK plant in Nottinghamshire. This is a brand-new position for the company and so you will have opportunity to put your own style and ideas on the role As Sales Support Manager you will be supporting the global sales teams to help improve the sales IT systems and processes and to guide / train the teams to improve the usage of the systems.By demonstrating how the systems and the data analysis can be used it will enable improvements in productivity and the ability to achieve revenue targets and growth goals. This is a very interesting position as you will be given full responsibility to manage the processes and systems from start to finish and consult with internal teams and external suppliers on what issues they are having and what improvements can be made. Although predominantly UK based, you will have the opportunity to work in person with the global sales teams around the world on new systems or processes you have introduced. You will be not managing a team, but managing the process and improvements across the companies sales teams. Benefits of Sales Support Manager c£50 - £55k Benefits scheme Work from home, ideally live approx. 2 hours or less from Nottingham Supporting a global sales force Possible travel to USA and further a field Role Duties: Work with the global Sales Managers to define priorities and support requirements to increase usage and effectiveness of the sales tools and programs Lead the standardisation of the Demand Planning processs Be the lead person on IT projects that relate to sales processes, tools and master data. Manage the administration, training and improvements related to key systems supporting the sales teams Work with the Salesforce Administrator to prioritise and execute changes and new functionality. Collect user feedback and ideas for continuous improvements. Review and continuously improve sales processes and tools to maximize sales productivity and drive revenue growth Sales Support Manager required qualifications and experience. You will need a Degree in either IT, Business or a technical discipline such as Electrical or mechanical engineering 5 years of industry experience in sales processes, preferably in a manufacturing environment Significant knowledge of commercial processes and tools, preferably as Salesforce SME or Super User Working knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools desired Understanding of SAP sales processes and sales data Strong project management skills.
