Senior Account Manager

A successful and fast growing organisation who have doubled in size in the last 5 years are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their team. They are an independent family owned local business based in St Albans. They offer quality products and a traditional service as well as a multi-channel offering and they supply into 500 schools across the UK. This is an exciting time to join them as they continue to grow and develop. You will be joining an experienced and growing team in a busy and varied Account Management position where you will be maintaining existing relationships with key accounts. You will be the clients first point of contact and identify the customers needs to try and generate extra sales for the business. What's in it for you: Salary: Up to £38k 4 X Salary Life Insurance 21 days holidays increasing to 24 days after 3 years' service 1st April Employees can buy up to 5 days holiday full time equivalent in any one holiday year 25% discount on products including immediate family Standard Life Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme Use of a pool car when visiting customers Based in Head offices in St Albans Key Responsibilities: To manage a portfolio of accounts Arrange and attend client meetings on a twice annual basis To report on previous years sales and suggest any improvements Offer new and forward thinking ideas, identify and suggest market trends, to develop upon these ideas therefore generating sales Keep the communication channel going throughout the year, maintain and extending relationships with existing or replacement contacts Attend conferences multiple times per year, to generate new business and keep constant contact with existing clients Person Specific: A solid Account Management background ideally from retail but all industries will be considered Strong organisational skills Excellent communication skills coupled with a customer service attitude To remain level headed in stressful situations Have a good awareness of garment compositions and manufacturing processes Positive, confident attitude with a strong work ethic Hours: 9:00-5:30 Monday-Friday Red Door Recruitment is committed to encouraging equality, diversity and inclusion among our workforce, and eliminating unlawful discrimination.
