In this role you will be responsible for monitoring the operational performance of several large Solar sites in and around the Cambridge area and carrying out a Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme as well as identifying and rectifying faults, managing associated contracts and contractors, responding to issues on site where necessary and testing/calibrating equipment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience as an Electrician working in the Renewable Energy, Power Generation or similar industry. They will hold a relevant degree, City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ qualification in electrical installations and will be qualified to 18th Edition. The role: Remotely monitoring operational performance of solar sites Occasional visits to local sites to carry out PPM programme Identifying and rectifying faults Testing and calibrating equipment Managing contracts and contractors for local sites Ensuring sites and works undertaken are in compliance with H&S policies and procedures Maintaining accurate records of works undertaken The person: 5 years' experience in electrical maintenance and/or installation Degree in electrical engineering, City & Guilds Level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent NVQ 18th Edition qualified Experience in the Renewable Energy or Power Generation industries at domestic, commercial or industrial level City & Guilds Inspection and Testing Level 3 (advantageous) Full UK driving license Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd regrets to inform that our client can only accept applications from engineering candidates who have a valid legal permit or right to work in the United Kingdom.
