HR Officer

We are looking to recruit a pro-active and organised HR individual to cover maternity leave with a start date as soon as possible. The successful candidate will need to have experience of working in a demanding and fast paced HR department in an administrative and advisory role. Reporting into the HR Manager, duties will include: Administration of new starters and leavers Carrying out company inductions with new starters Administration of all HR processes. Recruitment - preparing adverts, telephone interviews, arranging interviews, right to work checks and obtaining references. Preparing and carrying out staff probationary reviews alongside managers. Ensuring employee files are up to date and filing of all HR related documents accurately Preparing ad hoc reports Monitor time and attendance Assist with investigations and disciplinary work. Minute taking as and when required Key Skills & Experience Pro-active, organised, structured and able to work in a methodical way Manufacturing experience desirable Excellent communication skills Work with integrity and maintain confidentiality at all times Accurate in your work with a high attention to detail Excellent IT skills and able to maintain a HR database (People HR) and spreadsheets This role is a temporary contract, 40 hrs per week. Contract length: 12 months Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Salary: From £22,000.00 per year
