Job Requirements: This exciting role will be working closely with Management and Team Leaders the Maintenance Engineer will be required to complete PPM's, Troubleshoot, Repair, improve and install plant equipment, building services and structure. The role within U58 requires the Maintenance Engineer to be Electrically Biased with HNC or equivalent. S/He must be able to work Independently, be Self-motivated with a can-do attitude. At times support from and to the Maintenance Engineer will be required across all of Holywell's, Engineering departments responsibilities. The new incumbent will be supervised and supported by the Maintenance Supervisor and Operations Engineering Manager Responsibilities: Adopt and apply appropriate measures to help control, monitor and improve Safety, Health and the Environment (SHE). Work in an effective manner In line with WCM and help develop performance monitoring and action tracking measures suitable for the facility Analysis of production issues using collected data and knowledge of the process to provide engineering solutions Applying theoretical thinking to practical applications Attending production stoppages and work to return the facility to operation as soon as is possible Understand and deploy continuous improvement and problem solving techniques to optimise machine availability and productivity. (Quick Kiazen / BAT ) Record all PPM's, Repairs and issues on the sites CMMS "Pirana" Understand, deploy and seek to recommend improvements to production control procedures to support team performance objectives. Ensure that team operations, including those undertaken on the Company's behalf by third party service providers, are conducted in manner that fully complies with Unifrax health and safety, quality, environmental and corporate policies. Be actively involved in own personal development plans to maximise performance in the role and the contribution to succession requirements of the business. Where required, contribute to team level annual operational and financial budgets that secure the resources necessary to achieve agreed work programmes. Conduct delay analysis and where necessary undertaken engineering development to prevent reoccurrence. ( Quick Kiazen / BAT ) Development and maintenance of engineering standards to ensure product quality standards are maintained. Servicing equipment completing work required in a PPM system Coaching new apprentices Assessing and completing risks assessments Checking fire systems onsite and filling out weekly logs Troubleshooting and running tests procedures Qualifications/ Experience: Electrically Biased engineer for a Multi Skilled role (Must understand 3 phase/ control systems) Must have experience in a manufacturing environment.
