And this is where you come in. We're now looking for 3rd Line Service Desk Engineers to join us, adding to our pool of knowledge and delivering great results for our clients. As a 3rd Line Service Desk Engineer, you will act as the escalation point for the 1st and 2nd Line Service Desk Engineers, enabling our support process and resolving technical issues. Working to meet SLAs and maintain client satisfaction, you'll log incoming calls and respond appropriately to issues and technical cases. You'll aid in monitoring clients' IT systems, running back-ups and investigating alerts. Additionally, you'll work with the Service Desk Manager to ensure technical queries are addressed correctly, maintain client documentation and update clients with the progress of their queries. About You To be considered as a 3rd Line Service Desk Engineer, you will need: - Previous experience of IT helpdesk support - Knowledge and experience of various IT systems - Good knowledge of GPO deployment and configuration - Demonstrable expertise in all activities associated with providing end-user PC support and problem resolution on complex and difficult PC hardware and software issues You will also have experience of the following software/apps: - Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8 - Microsoft Office 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013 - Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2012 - Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013 - Windows backup software Microsoft certifications would be beneficial to your application, as would any relevant IT qualifications. Experience of setting up and supporting of mobile devices would be advantageous, as would experience of supporting Sage Accounts and Payroll. Experience of supporting Windows Server Operating Systems would be equally desirable, as would networking knowledge and a current, valid driving licence.
