Care Branch Manager

Michelle Denny Recruitment is partnering with First Choice Home Care to find a Branch Manager for their Bury St Edmunds office in Suffolk. We are looking for someone who will relish the challenge to working towards the role of Registered Manager and who has the drive to grow the branch to meet the needs of its service users. Starting salary is dependent on your level of experience and ranges from £26,000 - £32,000pa. Working alongside the management team, this position would suit someone looking for the next step in their care industry career; someone who feels ready to take on the responsibility of running their own branch with the zest and energy to effectively manage, grow and deliver outstanding services to customers and existing contracts. Snapshot of day-to-day responsibilities (with a detailed job description available): Lead and develop the branch domiciliary team to provide an effective, safe, responsive and caring, person-centred service Ensure delivery and compliance to meet statutory CQC regulations Enhance and develop new & existing relationships with clients, local authorities and other professional bodies to steadily grow the hours of care, by providing first-class customer service and positive communication Coach and support all staff within your branch to keep them safe, happy and able to carry out their jobs successfully Direct the team, monitor the provision and recording of training, carry out staff appraisals, constantly providing support and guidance for individual personal development Budgetary responsibilities Attend regular supervisory / management meetings Ensure effective communication throughout your branch and wider company Management and Directors What you'll need: Previous supervisory experience in a care giving environment Understanding of CQC statutory regulations NVQ / QCF level 3 as a minimum (working towards level 5) Ambition to become a Registered Manager and key member of the senior management team Confident, calm and engaging communication skills with a natural ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of people DBS clearance (paid for by First Choice) Full UK driving licence The ability to smile through those tougher days As well as a good remuneration package, you'll receive a full training programme along with the ongoing support, direction and guidance of senior colleagues, particularly over the first few months, so as to ease your transition and ensure a smooth, happy & successful induction.
