Senior Infrastructure Engineer

The day job This is a fantastic opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer to join an established and large account and be involved in the provision of advanced technical support on IT network, data and telephony systems to all SBS ICT technical teams, and customers. You will provide support and technical implementation: installation, maintenance, performance optimization of infrastructure technologies Working hours are a shift pattern between 7:00 and 19:00 Monday to Friday. Role does include on-call (24-7, 1 week in 5), which could result in a need to visit a site. Key responsibilities: Evaluate hardware and software (for server, network, storage or desktop environments) Test all deliverables produced and document results Integration and test of new products (both hardware and software) for incorporation into program infrastructure Administration and enhancement of the environment Third line support Project tasks to ensure the viability of the project To be aware of the relevant SLA structure and to respond, fix or escalate according to the limits set out within that structure Required skills You need to have: ?
