Junior Developer

Role; Junior developer Location/ working arrangement; North Notts Salary; £20k-£25k (depending on level of experience) You've probably read hundreds of adverts at this point. I imagine you're probably fed up of reading what feels like the same thing, over and over again. So, I'll keep this one short, sweet and to-the-point. I am working with a small-medium sized company in Nottinghamshire that during Covid have seen a huge increase in growth and are looking for a full stack developer to join there team. They are a very much family based business and are keen for their developers to learn and progress. You will get the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of tech from PHP to javascript, you don't necessarily have to have all of this, however some experience whether you have dabbled with it at home or are looking into it is a certain advantage. They aren't looking for you to have had any real experience, you may have attended a boot camp and have examples of your work that you can share As they don't have any testers in the business you will be responsible for testing your own code, so any experience with unite testing would be an advantage. They are a collaborative bunch, who will all put their heads together when working on a new project or working out how something will work. You will not be given orders, you will be very much a part of the team. They are keen for everyone to carry on with their learning and every Friday afternoon, you are given the chance to learn cool new tech, whether its playing with the code or reading a book about a language that interests you, it doesn't have to be related to what you are learning at work either As they are a small business, they will be looking for you to join them in the office a couple of days a week, there is ample car parking on site and if you don't drive that's not an issue there are decent bus links and even a train station near by This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/94579762
