Food Night Shift Section Manager

GBR Recruitment Ltd are working exclusively as the Recruitment Business Partner of a leading food manufacturing company within Lincolnshire recruiting for an experienced Night Section Manager solely running the Night Shift operation working on a fixed Sunday to Thursday night shift on a 6pm to 2am shift pattern, managing a small team of up to a maximum of 20. You will also be supported by a Team Leader, x2 Line Leaders & a QA to succeed in this key role. About this key role: As the no.1 for the night shift site operations team, you will lead the RTC / prepared production night shift operation, providing hands on front line positive leadership. Managing, leading, developing, coaching & mentoring a small versatile team ranging anywhere from 15 - 20 (90% FTE & 10% uplift with Agency temps). You will be a driven leader who can get the most out of their teams ensuring the nights team achieve set targets effectively efficiently & with a real focus on the quality of the end products. This role also requires the front-line Section Manager to be passionate about CI, LEAN, GMP, HACCP, SIC, JIT processes, H&S, Quality, BRC legislation, Customer Specification requirements & fulfilling all high-profile customers' orders OTIF. As the only senior person on site at night, you will be solely responsible for delivering in line with our clients demanding technical standards and high product quality, customer service, as well as internal & customer performance expectations. The role could suit someone working in another chilled RTC / Prepared Food company as an Area Manager, Zone Manager, Business Unit Manager, Business Unit Supervisor, Section Manager, Shift Manager, Shift Supervisor, Senior Shift Supervisor, Shift Team Leader, Night Shift Manager, Night Shift Supervisor or similar. Desired Experience, Skills & Qualifications: Experience of Managing / Supervising in a RTC / Read Meals Chilled Food Manufacturing company Proven ability to lead teams and get results from a small team, in a hands-on capacity Great understanding of technical requirements and ability to deliver to them MS office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) IOSH training and Food Safety level 3 would be advantageous but not essential Strong CI, LEAN, Zero Waste, SIC, GMP, HACCP, H&S, Food Safety & Hygiene skills / knowledge Employee Benefits: Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 p/a night shift allowance at 12.5% (£33,750 - £37,125) New starter joining bonus (T&Cs apply) Life assurance Critical illness cover Health & well-being plan Training & Development plan Free products Commutable from: Lincoln, Nottingham, Sleaford, Boston, Spalding, Bourne, Wisbech, Grantham, Newark, Navenby, Gainsborough, Worksop, Retford & Louth
