MI Developer Location: Nottingham Head Office Remuneration Package: Competitive Salary 37.5 hour per week (Monday - Friday) Flexible Working 25 Days Annual Leave Bank Holidays Additional Birthday day off Helphand A Range of Health & Wellbeing Resources Life Assurance Pension Colleague Discount & Cashback Scheme Summary and Main Purpose: The MI Developer will be responsible for providing the business with MI reports and data analytics throughout all areas and levels of the business, working independently on business-critical solutions Key Accountabilities: You will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and production of reports and data sets throughout the business. You will be technically strong in the areas of data management, report writing and will have the ability to provide meaningful data analytics and insights throughout all areas and levels of the business. Key accountabilities and tasks will include: ETL data with T-SQL Troubleshoot existing reports/T-SQL T-SQL stored procedures, functions and views Manage SQL tasks and agents Optimisation of code/packages to reduce load/impact Create, deploy and edit SSIS packages in Visual Studio Create, deploy and edit reports SSRS reports in Visual Studio Create, deploy and edit Power BI or similar Qualifications: Educated to GCSE level grade C or above including Maths & English (or equivalent) Experience: Experience in the use of tools such as SSMS, SSIS and Report Manager ETL data with T-SQL Experience of SQL Competent user of Microsoft Office applications Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of troubleshoot existing reports/T-SQL Good excel skills Good communication and presentation skills, oral and written Good general IT awareness Time Management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Must be able to work with the minimum of supervision Experience of writing reports Remit Training is an Investors in People Gold and Health & Wellbeing awarded employer who pride ourselves on being a company putting our learners and colleagues at the heart of everything we do.
