Regional Manager Children's Residential Services

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic and proactive care / educational professional that can help develop and maintain Ofsted registered children`s homes and schools for our young people across East Anglia and the South East of England. The successful applicant must have significant experience of working at a management level within Ofsted provision for young people and have an in-depth understanding and knowledge of social, emotional and mental health, emotional behavioural difficulties and learning difficulties. Extensive practical knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation is also a requirement for this role. This opportunity requires candidates who hold excellent communication and organisational skills and an ability to provide multi-site management. A proven track record of providing high quality care provision, achieving good or better outcomes; with the commitment and ability to work with colleagues and a range of internal and external stakeholders to develop outstanding provision is an essential requirement. Experience of setting up new services is desirable, as is the need to advocate for and support educational provision. Excellent interpersonal skills will be an advantage, as the role includes providing guidance, support and leadership to colleagues at all levels.
