Account Manager

As the Account Manager, your overall purpose is to manage our company's relationships with our customers. You will be responsible for your assigned customers, as well as working with new customers and supporting the new business development manager. Your day-to-day role will involve selling our products, project management, order processing, sales support, problem-solving, and managing customer complaints. Account Manager Responsibilities: Generate sales among your assigned customers, including upselling, and cross-selling Operate as the main point of contact for assigned customers Process your client orders through Syspro. Manage client orders from end to end, ensuring all orders are on track and production has all the information required. Single point of contact for your clients on the phone and by email. As well as face to face when required. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with your assigned clients. Makes sure clients receive requested quotes, product information, and solutions in a timely fashion (this will be managed via KPI's and reported monthly). Work with the Sales Director to forecast customer spend monthly and annually. Identifies opportunities to grow business with existing clients Ensure SLA's are met for each client. Manage and resolve RMA's to agreed time frame. Ensure all finance queries are resolved in a timely manner for invoicing OTIF. Overall responsibility for your customers' margins. Ensure agreed margin targets are met and a mapped-out development plan to grow margin is in place. Manage contract pricing and ensure correct procedures are met and maintained monthly. Weekly Aged debt review with finance and managing with our customers Account Manager Requirements: A proactive individual focused on providing excellent customer service. Background knowledge of successful Customer Service best practices. Personable, professional, and conscientious. Excellent communication skills with an ability to converse at all levels. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office with a good understanding of CRM. A high degree of accuracy with an eye for detail. Persistent with an ability to work to tight deadlines and Quality targets. Excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.
