THE ROLE Sitting within the Data Team the Business Intelligence Analyst will support organisational insight and reporting specifications. A key role in establishing a solid analytics platform across the business - ranging from the design, creation and implementation of insightful reporting to include automated dashboards, in BI tools such as PowerBI and Tableau, to build and develop insightful analysis to drive key business decisions. THE CANDIDATE You will have demonstrable experience of T-SQL query writing with a good understanding of data architecture and query performance best practices along with experience of PowerBI/Tableau/other reporting tools. SSRS experience with a good level of DAX knowledge is desirable as is a working knowledge of SSIS Advanced. Excel skills including advanced pivot tables and functions are required. Knowledge of data analysis methodologies and techniques. You will be able to listen to, understand and implement requirements from end-users and to communicate technical concepts to a varied audience and have an understanding of release management, change control, quality assurance and source control. A positive self-starter and results focussed, you'll be responsible for liaising and advising key business areas with the Trust, so you'll need a collaborative approach and excellent communications skills, alongside a meticulous attention to detail.
