Project Planner

We are seeking a Project Planner for a manufacturer based in Nottingham on a 12 month maternity cover contract. You will assist the sales, customer services, engineers and production teams in coordinating and planning for work and ensuring the delivery can be made within an agreed time frame. Project Planner duties and responsibilities: Planning the engineering content for new item sold and all engineering disciplines and support activities in all 3 sites Managing and maintaining the engineering capacity planning process and tool. Working with engineers in all sites and their technical leaders to ensure scheduled work is completed on time, and proactively manage variations to planned work when necessary. Working with local engineering technical leaders, sales leaders and production leaders to ensure un-scheduled work is planned and prioritised appropriately. Working with sales admin/operations as the point contact for customer changes to project and manage the impact of changes to the engineering schedule. Administering engineering related review meetings, including - setting up project technical review meetings, setting up ad-hoc engineering reviews when required, setting up BOM check and engineering QC meetings. Representing the engineering team at various business-wide review meetings Provide ERP data entry support to the engineering team when required. Extracting and analysing reports from ERP system to present to key stakeholders Ability to travel to other sites (UK and Europe) to gain better understanding of the operation Project Planner skills and experience: At least 3 years' experience in a similar role - Project Planner or Project Coordinator within a manufacturing environment High level of accuracy with a disciplined, structured approach to planning and data analysis Outstanding and effective interpersonal and influencing skills to be able to interact with different types of people at all levels Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills Strong administrative skills Great team player Exceptional time management skills and ability to prioritise Ability to work and remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines Highly proficient in MS Office software esp Excel - must be able to monitor and manage multiple projects simultaneously Project Planner benefits Competitive salary between £30,000 - £36,000 per annum 25 days holiday Modern working environment Amazing pension scheme Free parking Work life balance - Monday - Friday role Flexible working environment Amazing company with inclusive culture Planner, Scheduler, Coordinator, Manufacturing, Project, Project Planner, Project Coordinator, Project Team Leader, Nottingham, Derby, Leicester
