IT Business Analyst - Cyber Security and IT Infrastructure Programmes Royston, Hertfordshire with Hybrid Working Permanent Circa. £45-55K base salary bonus pension benefits Circa. £65-75K package We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Business Analyst to work within our Cyber Security Programme. Candidates should have experience working within a similar role, specifically within IT Infrastructure Programmes. Role: To ensure an effective Cyber Security posture across IT and Operational Technology (OT), Johnson Matthey continually invest in modern Cyber Security and IT Infrastructure with integrated tools and systems. This is crucial to the long-term sustainability of JM and delivery of our business strategies, delivering better performance and faster change. An enduring Cyber Programme of work is being created to build sustainable capabilities, deliver change initiates and to address existing cyber related risks and respond to external and organisational changes. The Cyber Programme initiatives are across the entire JM organisation working across IT, all business sectors, and functions, resulting in significant engagement and management of third parties. Reporting to the Cyber Programme Manager, the IT Business Analyst will partner with the business sectors and wider JM-IT teams to identify and drive improvements to business processes and technology solutions adoption and utilisation. Responsibilities will include input to project planning, scoping, determining, and documenting business requirements and creating functional specifications. As well as the development of acceptance criteria / test plans and creation of new and improved operational processes. Key responsibilities: To clearly define and document business requirements, thereby providing a strong foundation from which technical specifications can be derived. To clearly define and document business and operational processes relating to new or enhanced Cyber security capabilities. Directly lead business analysis including the discovery of information and evidence and the identification of problems and opportunities. Ensuring that recommendations fit with strategic business objectives. Actively manage senior stakeholders and create a compelling case for change. Own methods and identify the most suitable approach with regards requirements capture and analysis. Drive the process to agree and document acceptance criteria that drives testing and sign off activity. Work closely with third party vendors/partners involved in the delivery of Cyber and Infrastructure initiatives. Ensure that documentation is maintained and kept up to date in line with JM standards and policies. Share acquired knowledge with colleagues through formal documentation and communications sessions. To carry out any other duties which are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed. Always ensure that company Policies, Standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are adhered to. Are you the ideal candidate? You will have: Experience of undertaking Business Analysis within an IT setting specifically around infrastructure and process improvement change initiatives. Experience in supporting Cyber security initiatives (desirable). Experience of working closely with business requestors, systems owners, and end users, defining business, financial, and operations requirements, and systems goals using standard methodologies and tools. Experience in defining, agreeing and documentation business and operational processes. Strong MS office skills - especially MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project. Experience of leading requirements gathering workshops to elicit business requirements, develop business process flow definitions and derive functional specifications.
