Stamford School are looking to appoint an Learning Support Assistant to join the Learning Support Department.
This post will be working within the Learning Support Department to support pupils as directed by the Head of Learning Support: this could be on a 1:1 basis with their executive functioning skills and/or mental health; and there is also an opportunity for the candidate to work in class within any subject or across the school to support individual and groups of pupils.
The Learning Support Assistant would be able to develop close working relationships with parents, LAs and multi-agencies that positively support SEN pupils and the Head of Learning Support (SENCO).
The successful applicant will be experienced and capable of working with students with Special Educational Needs, have empathy, be proactive and a good level of organisation.
The role is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time contract.
