We are recruiting now!
Are you a registered nurse who would like to work in a community environment?
We are looking to recruit full or part-time registered nurses to join our team on the Rosemary ward at Newmarket Community Hospital. A 19-bedded inpatient unit, it is hosted by the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, rated ‘outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission.
This is a nurse-led unit; we pride ourselves on providing compassionate, holistic care to all our patients, putting their needs and wishes at the heart of everything we do.
The successful candidate will need excellent assessment and decision making skills, good organisational and communication skills, and be keen to integrate into a highly supportive multi-disciplinary team.
Our aim is to promote and return our patients to independence after an acute illness.
We offer rehabilitation, reablement and further assessment to support patients getting home. We work closely with our social care and NHS continuing healthcare teams to ensure successful discharge with appropriate support in place so our patients can continue to live as independently as possible for as long as they are able.
As a new member of the team you will receive a comprehensive induction supported by our matron and ward sisters, as well as the rest of the team.
Go on, join our team!
As a thank you for joining the West Suffolk Hospital, we are offering all new Band 5 Staff Nurses a welcome payment of £1,500 on appointment and a further £1,500 if you remain with the Trust after a year of employment.*
