Studio Proof Reader - Cambridge Salary: £25,000 plus site bonus scheme. 12 month fixed term contract. 25 days holiday. Free onsite car parking. Job Purpose and Summary Our client based near Cambridge require a Proof Reader to join their Team for a 12 month fixed term contract. This position offers a competitive salary and the benefits of working for a global brand leader. As an experienced Proof Reader, you will be coming to work on a customer site where you will work to produce a high level of material to the required customer standards. • You'll be an experienced Proof Reader with substantial experience and preferably working as a reader in a production environment
• Creative problem-solver.
• Excellent Production Proof Reading skills
• comprehensive practical knowledge of marks for copy prep & proof correction in accordance with BS 5261-2:2005
• Ability to work in an environment of conflicting priorities, with a reliable and responsible attitude.

Please note, this is not an editorial proof reading role Further information You'll ensure that a high level of Quality Assurance work is produced, working on both confidential and non-confidential materials. You will provide proofs that are 100% accurate to the brief supplied, and ensure your team members also produce the same level of quality.Working to a specific house style and working with the Studio Manager, you'll identify and implement immediate and effective solutions to issues and ensure that any performance issues does not affect the service level agreements in place with the client. Working through and maintaining processes and procedures within the in-house confidential print facility, you'll adhere to all ISO and BS accreditations and associated legislative requirements.
