Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Small Animal Nursing Assistant to join our friendly team.

A busy role supporting our Small Animal Vets and Nurses based at our Newbury branch and assisting at our Thatcham branch as and when required. The ability to travel between the branches is essential.

Whilst training will be given, the experience of working within an animal care environment is advantageous. The role includes working Saturday mornings and shift work during Monday to Friday on a rota basis.

Duties to include:

  • Assisting with the care of our patients
  • Help with the preparation of patients for surgery
  • Cleaning of clinical areas and sterilisation of equipment
  • Assisting the front of house team as and when required

The position would suit someone with a keen interest in animal care and may have a future interest in training to become a Qualified Veterinary Nurse.
