Care Staff
Various hours and roles (1:1 work, key worker roles and activity staff)
NJC 15, £21,854 per annum
Join our exceptional team to make a real difference to the lives of our
children and young people at Mary Hare School. We are looking for
someone who is enthusiastic and committed to providing
outstanding opportunities for deaf children. You will need to be
motivated in developing individual outcomes through care planning,
activities and being a positive role model. It is not essential to have
a Level 3 qualification, but you must be willing to work toward it.
Our young people are exceptional, high achieving individuals, who are
looking forward to working with resilient, child-centred, and active adults.
We have full time and part time vacancies, with opportunities to
become a key worker for a group of young people, support individuals
with varying needs; helping with organisation skills, social skills and
transitioning to adulthood.
The role is rewarding and challenging; resilience to a variety of
behaviours and needs, along with working closely with families and
other professionals, allows for a rich and fulfilling vocation.
Our full time (term time only) positions working hours are 82 hours
spread over a two-week shift pattern, to include mornings, evenings,
and weekends. Additional opportunities to sleep-in during shifts are paid
on top of normal salary.
Our part time hours vary across the week, to include mornings
(7am-10:30am) and evenings (3:30pm-10:30pm). Hours are negotiable
on a fixed term bases Additional opportunities to sleep-in during shifts
