Commercial Administrator – part-time, permanent
The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is looking to recruit a Commercial Administrator to
support the Commercial department which covers group and trade sales, retail and other
Working part-time, 28 hours per week, you will provide administration support to the
department, responding to enquiries, processing bookings and invoices. Providing high
quality customer service you will process reservations and sales, responding promptly and
efficiently to initial enquiries, issuing quotes and confirming bookings to organisers.
You will actively promote visits to the Shakespeare family homes maximising all sales
opportunities. You will handle payment requests and confirmations and prepare
appropriate itineraries. You will also issue reports and activity summaries relating to this
To be successful in the role you will have experience of working in an administrative role,
possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to prioritise, whilst
delivering consistent high standards. You should have a willingness to work collaboratively
and assist with the wider work of the Commercial department.
