Are you looking to join a high-performing admin team which provides an essential Pathology service?
The Pathology Service Desk is employing reliable team members with a professional telephone manner, excellent keyboard skills and a sharp eye for accuracy to deliver a wide range of Pathology services to healthcare professionals in primary, community and secondary care settings.
Full training will be provided but an interest or experience in Pathology would be an advantage. Experience in Customer Service, as well as being a competent touch typist with a good knowledge of using various computer systems, is essential for this role.
A typing test will be required as part of the interview process.
This is a full-time role which requires flexible working to cover shift patterns between the opening hours of 08:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday. The Service Desk is closed on weekends and bank holidays.
Please note that the Service Desk is based in Newmarket, Suffolk with free on-site parking.
Main duties of the job
To deliver and maintain an excellent telephony customer service to a range of healthcare professionals and service users across Pathology and NHS services.
We provide a pathology service to GPs, community nurses/midwives and charitable healthcare organisations across the region, as well as consultants, hospital staff (NHS and private) and lab staff nationwide.
Our highly-trained, customer-focused Team provides first-level access for information to Pathology service users.
