For immediate start, working as exclusive Family Cook/House Keeper in Fawley, Southampton. The role is based at the family home, with access to fresh produce and produce from the kitchen garden and local sources. The right candidate would be integral to the smooth running of the house and a key role within the Kitchen and must have previous experience as a cook either in a restaurant or in another domestic setting, feel comfortable harvesting fruit and vegetables, be competent with handling all types of meat and fish.
The role will include-:
• Preparation of all family lunches and dinners Friday to Monday
• Preparation of working lunches as required.
• Harvesting produce from the kitchen garden.
• Check and purchase groceries and household supplies to maintain adequate levels within budgets.
• Maintain record of related expenditure.
• Liaise on kitchen garden and processing produce with principle/gardener
• Ability to cater for small family events and larger group outdoor feasts, with opportunity to cook outdoor fire and wild.
• General Housekeeping duties over Saturday/Sundays.
• Occasional Childcare
• Driver essential with a full UK driving licence. Car for use during working hours.
