Job Description

MATURE FEMALE CARER REQUIRED

(Between Newark/Southwell area)

Mature female carer required to assist my 61-year-old brother who is Down syndrome & lives in his own home supported by his family & existing 2 carers.
You will be required to assist with all aspects of personal/domestic tasks & meals + take him out on occasions, therefore car owner preferred.
Exp of working with learning difficulties is not essential, however, patience, honesty, reliability and a good sense of humour is.
If you do not hold a current DBS one will need to be applied for, should you be successful.

You will be self employed and will therefore be responsible for paying your own tax & insurance and will be paid for hours worked.

Hours as follows.
Sunday evening (6pm to 11.00pm) + sleep over.
Monday 9.00am to 12.00pm (then break) return 4.00pm to 11.00pm + sleep over.
Friday 9.00am to 5.00 pm
23hrs @ £16.00 ph. = £368.00 + 2 x sleepover @ £109.80 per night = £219.60
Total for week £587.60

Additional hours will also be required to cover holiday leave etc.
