Job Title: New Owner Relations Expert
AKA: Property Go Getter
Location: Lymington HQ, New Forest, Hampshire
Employment Type: Part Time, Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week
Salary: £25k pro rata + Bonus scheme

At New Forest Escapes, we’re on the lookout to recruit the latest new member of our close-knit New Forest-based team. Firmly rooted in the heart of the New Forest with 50+ exclusive holiday homes, each one handpicked and visited by a member of our team, we specialise in matchmaking holidays for our guests with their perfect New Forest Escape. This region is our home, and we want our guests to enjoy it just as much as we do.

Our newest New Owner Relations Expert will become a valued member of a dedicated, passionate Property Recruitment team and will be responsible for driving new owner enquiries. You’ll have masses of local knowledge, be keen to get out and build relationships with all relevant New Forest businesses/suppliers to get our name out there and make sure we are the number one locally recommended agency for any potential owners thinking to holiday let their homes.

As the first point of contact for potential new owners, you’ll be responsible for delivering our exceptional services, gathering essential property and owner information, arranging consultancy meetings on behalf of Jane, our MD of Everyday Happiness, create property proposals and overcoming any barriers to securing contracts.

As part of this exciting and unique role you will also be required to attend shows and events in the region throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

//  Serve as the primary point of contact for new holiday home owners for all new owner enquiries

// Respond to all new enquiries within an agreed timeframe, gathering all necessary information key to understanding the owner’s needs, expectations and requirements.

// Maintain regular communication with new owners to address any questions or concerns, with a view to arranging a property recruitment visit.

// Be responsible for all new owner marketing collateral and sales materials – ensuring it is up to date, in stock and quick/ efficient delivery is achieved.

// Diary management and arrangement of property visits for our company director and house captain.

// Follow up with all owners post visit to confidently negotiate terms and contracts, addressing any concerns or barriers to signing.

// Oversee the seamless transition of new properties into the New Forest Escapes portfolio, and over to our Office Operations.

// Build and foster relationships with local businesses, suppliers, and stakeholders to generate new property recruitment leads.

// Represent New Forest Escapes at local events, shows, and networking opportunities, promoting the company’s services and strengthening community ties.

// Follow processes and maintain accurate records of all owner interactions, contracts, and onboarding activities.

//  Provide regular updates and reports on the status of new owner onboarding and any challenges encountered.

//  Work with our marketing team to ensure a constant online presence to support your work.

Essential Experience:

// Proven experience in account administration or management.
// Results driven with experience in contract negotiation and managing client expectations.

Knowledge:

// An understanding of the holiday rental market, particularly in the New Forest area would be desirable.
// Knowledge of the New Forest, tourism hotspots, businesses, and community dynamics.

Skills:

// Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
// Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail.
// Confident negotiation skills with a focus on overcoming barriers and securing agreements.
// Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
// IT literacy of the following packages; Mac, Word and Excel.


Desirable Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

// Proven ability within a sales or property portfolio environment.
// Background in holiday letting or property letting
// Familiarity with local business networks and community organisations in the New Forest.
// Commercially minded and able to negotiate and influence.
