20 hours per week £23,400 pa pro rata
plus pension contribution working in attractive
offices with a nice team.
Our 47 year old charity wishes to recruit a community
transport officer for – Newbury and Thatcham
Handybus. Do you like being out and about and
would you like to be making a difference in your
community working for a respected charity?
Do you appreciate the importance of community transport
and the needs of service users?
The successful applicant will be an efficient administrator and be able
to keep excellent records.
The candidate will have a clean licence with category D1 and had experience
of driving minibuses and or larger vehicles.
You will be a good communicator and be able to empathise
with the needs of community groups, older less able
people, our volunteer drivers and office colleagues.
Good IT skills are essential as well as have a practical
approach to the service. Overall aims to oversee the
systems in place to provide a safe well-run service for
the benefit of all users of the service general roles and responsibilities
• To control the Handybus desk Monday to Friday
• Usually from 9am to 1pm with flexibility required from to time
for an earlier start and earlier finish etc.
