We are looking for an experienced GP Receptionist to join our small friendly team of staff to assist our patients both in person and on the telephone. The work is varied and fast paced and the role will include answering phones, signposting patients to the correct service/appointments, manning the front desk, processing prescription requests from patients, and generally completing all other administrative tasks required to ensure the smooth running of the surgery.

We also want to recruit a GP Receptionist/Secretary. This role will include the reception duties as above, but the applicant will also need to be proficient in audio typing. Knowledge of the NHS Electronic Referral System (ERS) would be an advantage but full training will be available if required.

Ideally we are looking for applicants who have experience of working in a GP practice using SystmOne.

Part-time hours: between 12 and 25 hours per week. Hourly rate offered will be dependent on experience in a similar role.
