Stamford High School is looking to recruit a Science Technician for the busy Chemistry Department
The role of the Science Technician is to help facilitate the delivery of the School’s science curriculum and thus enhance students’ learning. Principle activities are supporting teaching staff in practical work, preparing, clearing and cleaning lesson materials. Science technicians are affiliated to a particular science department, Chemistry in this instance, but we expect our science technicians to work as a team, and their duties may extend beyond their primary subject area when the need arises. From time to time, technicians might be asked to provide assistance in other areas of the school, as and when their science duties allow.
