Our School

Ballard is an award-winning independent co-educational, day school for pupils from Nursery (2 years) to GCSE (Year 11). We have recently been awarded the highest accolades in our latest ISI and OFSTED inspections – Excellent & Outstanding! We currently have over 400 children in the School and we are situated close to both the New Forest and the sea, set within a wonderful 34-acre site. We are seeking a temporary, full-time Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4 French. The ability to teach KS3 Spanish would be advantageous. 

The successful candidate should:

• Have a teaching qualification in MFL with relevant classroom-based teaching experience
• Be fluent in French and can teach up to KS4, and potentially KS3 Spanish
• Have strong knowledge of the curriculum
• Have a passion for teaching and learning which energises and inspires inquisitive young people and allows them to develop the skills and motivation needed for their future lives
• Be able to communicate to parents on the children's learning and progress
• Deliver lessons which are of high quality, with focus on pupil learning and with an emphasis on positive reinforcement
• Be able to establish good working relationships with all staff

Hours: Full time - 8.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday

Salary: Will be determined according to qualifications and experience.
