The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Administrative Assistant

Job Description

We require a competent and experienced administrator to support the work of the Outdoor Education team, including the Duke of Edinburgh Award programmes, to co-ordinate all the associated administrative tasks to ensure that the programmes can be delivered smoothly and safely.


Previous knowledge of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme is desirable but not essential as full training will be given to the successful candidate.


This is a front-line role acting as the main point of contact for all queries relating to the programmes. Applicants must be an able problem solver and have the ability to manage conflicting priorities along with an intermediate level of skill in the use of the Microsoft Office suite including, word, excel and outlook.


The working hours arrangements are 27 hours per week, 42 weeks per year (34 term time weeks plus 3 weeks during the School holidays).
